Sound Design
Since she was a kid, Anne has always been angry. Just like her father. From 16mm footage of 1950s Morocco to family outings filmed in Super 8, the filmmaker delves into her family archives and the story of her father, eager to learn about the violence that inhabited him. Oujda, 1945 is a film essay uncovering a deep family secret that gives way to a terrible legacy: a grandfather’s involvement in the colonial system.

IRIS (2023)
Sound Design
Ever since Iris, a French-Congolese woman, left Montreal, she has nurtured her relationship with Gabriela through voice messages. In this film, her voice gives hints of a return that exists only through the gaze of director Gabriela’s camera. Exploring the boundaries of documentary language the film conveys us to a dreamlike non-place, where the form of a faceless woman intermingles with the fluidity of waterscapes, of clouds and wind.
Directed by Gabriela de Andrade
PRINT TIME (2022)

From the American dream to the failure of modern society, the film puts human beings in perspective, faced with the wall they’ve erected for themselves.
Directed and edited by Annie Deniel
